To pray is to be fruitful

If we abide in Christ and ask as Jesus taught us, you can  pray for what you desire and receive God's provisions.

Scriptures:

Matt 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

1John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

Pray with perseverance- Jesus says ask, seek, and knock, which is inviting us to approach the Father freely fully expecting him to provide all we need. But this is best translated as "seek and keep seeking", "ask and keep asking", knock and keep knocking". Some prayers are only answered after long seasons of waiting and praying.
The Father will always respond, but those answers can come in three forms.

1. Immediately- Sometimes you get a response right away or in a very short period of time. By doing this God reminds us of how faithful he'll be with other needs you bring before him.

2. "Wait"- By waiting and preserving in prayer it gives God an opportunity to work within us and our circumstances. While waiting though pray that God moves any wrong motives or incorrect perspectives that might be causing the delay.

3. No, I have something better- God knows all of your needs and desires, and he truly wants to meet them. Sometimes though he will withhold what we want, if it is not best for us. Yet, we should keep praying because at the right time the Lord will meet your needs in the most satisfying ways possible.
