With Libra we will begin with the major sign The Scales.

The Scales represent the whole theme of redemption, or purchase, and describe a transaction. Redemption comes from the Latin word emptio which means to Buy or to Purchase. Add the red. and the word now means to "Purchase Back". The scales are a representation of this redemption and it's cost.

Is this not what Christ did by dying for our sins? He bought back all of those who fell under the debt of sin. 

He shed his own blood for you.
