Scorpio

The last decan in the house of Scorpio is Hercules. Hercules is seen upside down, immediately over Ophiuchus and is shown down on one knee with a mighty club raised over his head. He has in his hand Ceberus, the three headed monster, who guards the gates of hell. Scripture tells us that Christ would wound the head of the serpent and give him the mortal wound from which he would never recover. This is the picture Hercules is showing us.

The brightest star in this figure is located in the forehead of Hercules and is called Ras-Al-Gethi "The Head of Him Who Bruises". Christ is the one who came to bruise the head of the serpent.  The second brightest star has the meaning of "The Branch Kneeling.

Throughout Hercules life he was engaged in the most difficult and wonderful feats. Including among them are: vanquishing the many headed Hydra and cleansing the Augean stables. Thousands of animals were kept in these stables that had never been cleaned. The filth and stench must have been unbelievable. Interestingly though Christ was born in a stable and came for the purpose of cleaning our stables.
He was willing to be born in the stables of our hearts and He didn't use water, He used his own precious blood to cleanse us.

Conclusion:
Here in Scorpio we see Christ defeat Satan at his attempt to gain the crown. And Christ defeating Satan allows us to eat the fruits of the tree of life, the fruits which bring eternal life.
