Lyra- the Harp

This is the first of the three decans. Lyra, The Harp, or lyre means "Praise for the Conqueror" and is shown as a harp combined with an eagle or an eagle rising with a harp. Here tells us that we are to take up the harp and sing God's praises.
He is to be glorified for being our conqueror.

Vega is a very bright star that glitters like a gem, in this constellation. Vega means " He shall be exalted". God Himself named this star so that He should be exalted.

Ara- The Altar

Ara is the second decan and is illustrated as an altar. Ara means "Consuming Fire Prepared for His Enemies". It is seen as an altar or a burning pyre upside down pouring fire into the lower regions called Tartarus, or the outer darkness. This depicts that god having conquered Satan, has prepared that place for Satan and his fallen angels- that place of consuming fire. This picture unfolds in Ps 21:8-9:
8 Your hand will find all Your enemies;
Your right hand will find those who hate You.
9 You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of Your anger;
The Lord shall swallow them up in His wrath,
And the fire shall devour them.

We are also told in II Thessalonians Chapter 1 that Christ shall come with flaming fire, taking vengeance on those that believe not and obey not.  He shall come with His mighty angels to be glorified, which reminds us to take up our harp and lyre to sing the praises of Christ.
