No/Low Carb

Hubby decided about 3 weeks ago he was going to try a no/low carb diet. The results have been truly amazing for him. He has already lost over 10lbs.

It is funny though how you suddenly become aware of everything that you are eating. I now catch myself reading the ingredients on the back of the packages. It's not just him and I either but even our children are now very interested.
I have a terrible sweet tooth and love to keep snack cakes and candies in the house. I just wasn't really paying attention though to how much of those snacks that my children were taking per day. I do suppose I should have known when a whole box of Tastykakes was gone in two days.
Yet, with this diet we have now changed those Tastykakes to fruits and vegetables. i really thought the girls would have a problem with all of there snack cakes being gone, but they both have adjusted very well. And along with the fruits and veggies they have also been drinking more water instead of Kool-Aid or tea.
We have even begun to walk about two miles each evening, The best part of it though is that we are doing this as a family.
Now we are going to moving into a new phase. We are going to start the Insanity Program. So I will keep you updated as begin.
