Spiritual Gifts

Spiritual gifts are gifts given to God's people by the Holy Spirit meant for works of service and to build up the body of Christ. Some people may possess one or many of these different gifts. So here we are going to discuss all the different gifts that are given.

Ministry Gifts
These are used to reveal God's plans. They are a calling rather than a gift.

Apostle- This is the messenger. They convey the message and establish the church.

Prophet- A prophet is God's mouth piece. God gives them a message to deliver for a purpose.

Evangelist= They are called to be witnesses for Christ. They are to bring people into the body of Christ. An evangelist travels the world from place to place to spread the word.

Pastor- He is the shepherd. He guides and nurtures the people and is married to the church.

Teacher- He is the one who does all the research to validate the truth.

Lyra

The first decan in the house of Sagittarius is Lyra, the Harp or lyre which means "Praise for the Conqueror" and is shown as a harp combined with an eagle or an eagle rising with a harp.
Vega is a very bright star in this constellation. It glitters like a gem and means "He shall be exalted."
God himself named this star so that He should be exalted.

Ara

Ara is the second decan and is illustrated as an altar.  Ara means "Consuming Fire Prepared for His Enemies." It is seen as an altar or a burning pyre upside down pouring out fire into the lower regions of Tatarus, or outer darkness.
This depicts that God, having conquered Satan, has prepared that place for Satan and his fallen angels- that place of consuming fire. This picture unfolds in PS 21:8&9

8 Your hand will find all Your enemies;
Your right hand will find those who hate You.
9 You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of Your anger;
The Lord shall swallow them up in His wrath,
And the fire shall devour them.

We are also told in II Thessalonians chapter 1 that Christ shall come with flaming fire taking vengeance on those that believe not and obey not. He shall come with His mighty angels to be glorified, which reminds us to take up the harp and the lyre and to sing the praises of Christ.

Draco

The final decan in the house of Sagittarius is Draco the dragon. It is seen as a huge winding serpent fierce, but firmly under the crushing foot of Hercules. In Greek, Drakon means "Trodden Down". Her we see the dragon as the one who is trodden down on.
The brightest star in this figure is called Thuban and is located in the second coil from the serpent's tail. Thuban means "The Subtle".
In the serpent's head is the star Rastaban "The Head of the Serpent". This is the second brightest of this constellation.
The last star is Eltanin "The Long Serpent".

So here we can see the dragon cast down, crushed, trodden on, and overcome by Christ.

Sagittarius is the final chapter in the first of three books in the zodiac.  As you will see it along with the other two books will end with the victory of Christ and the destruction of Satan.

Prayer:
Father whether we look into Thy Word or lift our eye unto the glittering heavens, we see the same story of the glory and grace of Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Conquering King. In Thy name Amen!

2.  Honor God's scriptural chain of authority.

God takes responsibility for the consequences of our obedience to Him. Many  of us live in spiritual defeat because we are not obedient to God. God is the one God and father of all even Christ is subject to Him.

How You Can Make Traveling With Your Kids More Relaxing

Check out this guest post by Logan.

Remember how easy and fun traveling was before you had kids? As a proud parent, you probably can’t imagine life without your wonderful kids now that you have them in your life. However, when it’s time to take a trip, you might find yourself wishing that you could leave the kids at home with their grandparents. When the kids are in tow on vacation, you have to focus less on relaxing and enjoying yourself and more on keeping them content. Luckily, there are things you can do to make traveling with your kids easier and more pleasant. Here are some of the things you can try out next time you head out on family vacation:

·         Bring some entertainment – Keeping your kids distracted with entertainment while you’re in the car or on the jet or plane will positively affect their behavior. Additionally, your kids won’t complain too much when you visit adult-centered places on the trip if they have some toys, games, and electronics to help keep them entertained. So, don’t leave the 3DS and coloring books at home!

·         Let everyone have a say – The attractions you visit and the events you attend while traveling should be a mixture of what everyone in the family wants to do. Be sure to let your kids pick a few things they want to do on the trip. Your idea of a good time may not be going to an amusement park, but you’ll probably have to make a few sacrifices on the trip to prevent any temper tantrums.

·         Regulate their sleep and eating habits – Try to get the kids to go to bed at their normal bedtime on the trip and wake up around the same time they always do. This will prevent unnecessary tiredness and grumpiness due to lack of sleep. Additionally, you should try to keep the kids eating habits healthy on the trip. Loading them up with sugar will just affect their moods and make them more likely to act up.

·         Enjoy each other’s company – Busy parents and busy kids sometimes don't have enough time to truly enjoy each other’s company. A family trip should be about spending quality time together as a family. So, don’t forget to spend some time on the trip just talking, laughing, and playing with your kids!

Dawgs Footwear Giveaway

I received the Women's Crossover Canvas Golf shoes in Black & Pink, so I gave them to my wife for Easter. My wife, Stephanie, has informed me that the Women's Crossover shoes are very comfortable. Stephanie is not a golfer so she wore them to Walmart and didn't get any blisters, didn't have sore feet; but most importantly recently she has been suffering a lot of back pain, and she informed me that her back did not hurt while she was wearing the Women's Crossovers nor once she took them off. There are many different types of shoes to choose from on http://usadawgs.com/. All of their shoes are fairly priced, and they not only have golf shoes, they have work boots, and sandals for this wonderful spring season as well. If you would like a pair of comfortable, lightweight, affordable shoes, you should click here: http://usadawgs.com/ and order a pair today. We will also be giving a pair away; however, the pair being given away will be the identical to the ones my wife received.

8 Keys to a New Season!

I am going to share with you something I heard the other day. These are very important steps to opening up a new season for yourself. I believe if we use these along with our prayers of God's supernatural favor we will go great places.

1. Embrace the Holy Bible as it is the absolute truth.
You can not believe half of the story without believing the other half . I have heard some say that they believe in the old testament but not the new. In other words they believe in God but not Jesus. Well the old testament prophesies in many places of Christ's coming. So it is very hard for me to understand that if you believe all the old testament tells you that you wouldn't then believe the new.

Sagittarius

Sagittarius- The Archer
The Final Triumph - Portrays Christ, the God-man as the victor over sin and Satan.
1John 3:8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

He is the centaur(part man part horse) and he is an archer. In Akkadian he is called Nunki which means "The Prince of the Earth".

This is the second time we have looked at a centaur. The first was in Virgo where he was in the process of giving himself up, bu there he is the victorious one, the risen and conquering King. He comes now as the Archer to destroy Satan.

The Human portion of the centaur is drawing the bow and aiming and arrow at Antares, the very heart of the scorpion. An interesting statement that relates to this is found in Psalms 21:12 Therefore You will make them turn their back;
You will make ready Your arrows on Your string toward their faces. and the same being found in Psalms 45:5 Your arrows are sharp in the heart of the King’s enemies; The peoples fall under You. So here we see that Christ is the one whose arrow is aimed at the Scorpion.

Baby Day!

Sweet Pea is now 17
Today is National Baby Day, so I thought this would be a great opportunity to share with you what my babies once looked like!

Any excuse for me to share is better than none.

PamiPocket Giveaway

When I received my PamiPocket, I was so excited. I didn't have to worry about accidentally answering my phone when pulling it out of my pocket anymore. The Pamipocket is a sleeve on a nice firm rope/string, and my phone (android) fits in it loosely so it's easy to get it in and out of the case. After I used it for about 4 days, I gave it to my mom to use to also get her reaction. My mother, age 60, loves it so much, she won't give it back. There is a zipper pouch to put your phone in, and like I said, it fits my phone loosely so I can get it in and out without any issues. There is also a smaller pouch on front that you can use to put money or credit cards in. This amazing pouch, when I first received it, reminded me of a cigarette case. Those cases have enough room for lots of items, and as a man, is perfect because my pockets are always full. These fine cases are $14.99, but you can get a "fair trade" discount of $5.00 off. At this price, you can't pass the PamiPocket up. Shipping is really quick as well. You can order the PamiPocket in Black or Pink, and you can do so through this link: http://pamipocket.com/shop Also, join their facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/Pamipocket?sk=wall and twitter here http://twitter.com/#!/pamipocket.
